The Paris End

Uptown Melbourne Retreat

Nestled within Melbourne's historic Clyde House building (est. 1915), Clyde House Atelier draws inspiration from the European influences of its era and the spirit of atelier living.Surrounded by grand architecture, theatres, luxury boutiques and celebrated restaurants, it offers a thoughtful city retreat in one of Melbourne's most storied neighbourhoods.

Why Atelier?

Stay Slowly

Atelier is a French word traditionally used to describe an artist's studio — a place of creativity and thoughtful living. For us, it represents a slower way to experience Melbourne. A place to linger over coffee, discover hidden laneways, enjoy an evening at the theatre, and return to a space filled with character and comfort.A place to revive, sip, and stay slowly.

Thoughtfully Curated

The Apartment

Clyde House Atelier has been carefully refreshed to create a warm and character-filled city retreat.Inspired by Melbourne's grand apartment buildings and European atelier living, the interiors combine rich colours, collected items, books and thoughtful details designed to make guests feel at home.Designed for solo travellers, couples and friends exploring the city together, the apartment features a private Queen bedroom, plus a single sofa bed within the living space.

Rest Well

A Quiet Retreat
